About the Job Purpose: Procurement & Logistics is a critical area within Procure to Pay (PTP) process integrated with multiple internal and external applications impacting Supply Chain Planning, Logistics & Distribution. It involves complex processes and IT integration, holding the knowledge internally becomes a must. Own and support IT solution. Key Results: Develop and maintain standards based integrated ERP configuration that is reliable, flexible, scalable, and responsive to business conditions and is aligned with the IT Strategy. Effectively manage and guide of a result driven PTP organization that is credible with externally managed vendors as well as internal resources and which demonstrates value for business. Considered a valued and equal partner of a cross-functional shared services team, who contributes to the supported units' strategic and tactical successes. Key Responsibilities: Participate in the delivery of the IT Strategic Plan. Manage Governance processes including the facilitation of the process at the functional area. Provide oversight for assigned area to ensure solutions are managed within the IT strategy and roadmap with appropriate support coverage. Monitor and maintain awareness of ERP industry trends and best practices for assigned functional area. Contribute to the provision of a robust, reliable and effective ERP system for LS&CO. users as measured by established service levels Partners closely with business and IT leaders/managers/teams to facilitate issue resolution, develop and deliver valuable business solutions in a fast-paced environment. Engagement with teams at onsite, offshore, and across the globe including appropriate 3rd party service providers. Manage and plan the teams' workload and provide direction to team members in terms of priorities, work assignments, work outputs and deliverables in areas of break/fix, enhancements and projects; including review of the same. Develops and maintains key relationships within ERP Competency Center group, the Regional IT group, business counterparts and 3rd parties. About You Minimum Education Required: BS or Engineering Degree required. Years and Type of Experience Required: Minimum 10 years IT experience supporting business systems, including minimum of 8 years SAP experience (which should include multiple implementation projects and exposure to an ERP support environment). SAP S4 Fashion, AFS in Materials Management and global experience preferred. Experience in other supply chain products e.g Infor Nexus and integrating them with ERP desirable. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Advanced knowledge of computing technologies and operations that support business systems and the user community. Knowledge of SAP with extensive experience in the relevant domain areas for their function. Strong presentation skills both oral and written with strong analytical and problem-solving skills required. Able to take initiative in a fast-paced work environment and able to interface with a variety of functions at all levels within the organization. Strong planning and organization, flexibility and interpersonal skills required. Ability to prioritize multiple projects within the functional area. Ability to anticipate technological changes, communicate the impact these changes may have on the organization and meet the business requirements necessary to implement the changes. Understanding of apparel retailer industry is a must. The expected starting salary range for this role is $XXX-$XXX. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Efficient Import Processes: Manage and monitor agile import processes, ensuring minimal delivery time and cost. Regulatory Compliance: Collaborate in verifying compliance with local and international regulations, such as customs, safety, and quality standards for all imports. Supplier Relationships: Assist in developing and maintaining strong relationships with international suppliers, helping assess their performance and support cost/quality improvement. Import and Consolidation Strategies: Support the optimization of import strategies balancing costs, inventory, and lead-time. Process Automation Support: Contribute to simplifying and automating the import process to improve operational efficiency. Cost Monitoring: Track and monitor costs associated with imports, including freight, tariffs, and related expenses. Risk Management Support: Identify and assist in the analysis of potential risks related to raw material imports, and support the creation of contingency plans. Communication: Maintain effective communication with internal departments, suppliers, and customs agents to ensure smooth operations. Performance Reporting: Prepare performance reports and analyze data, focusing on costs and delivery time metrics. Budget Adherence: Ensure adherence to the import budget while helping identify cost efficiencies and areas for resource optimization. Cost-Saving Projects: Assist and contribute to the execution of cost-saving initiatives to improve tariff rates, implement preferential tariffs, and increase import efficiency. QUALIFICATIONS Essential: Education: Degree in International Trade, Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: At least 3 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, with a focus on imports. Knowledge: Familiarity with import regulations, customs processes, trade agreements, and freight management. Interpret customs brokerage expense accounts and freight & forwarders supplier invoices Strong understanding of international trade terms (INCOTERMS) and their relevance to import contracts. Proficient understanding of Statistics, Demand Concepts, and Data Analytics. Intermediate-level skills in Excel and SAP. Fluent in speaking and written English, C1 or C2 preferred KEY SKILLS: Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze data and solve logistical challenges in the import process. Proactive and Results-Oriented: Strong focus on identifying and acting on cost-saving opportunities. Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams to support logistics goals. Effective Communication: Communicate clearly and concisely with all relevant parties.
