Role and Responsibilities
The Recruitment & Training Specialist provides domain specific (Recruitment) support to our employees for level 2 queries via the telephone and/or email. The HR Specialist will be taking the calls passed from the tier one, HR coordinators. Handles employee inquiries and resolves domain specific questions, pertaining to recruiting, benefits, employee relations, training/onboarding, updating documentation, etc. The Recruitment & Training Specialist is the second touch point and domain expert for employees.
The Recruitment & Training Specialist provides domain specific (Recruitment) support to our employees for level 2 queries via the telephone and/or email. The HR Specialist will be taking the calls passed from the tier one, HR coordinators. Handles employee inquiries and resolves domain specific questions, pertaining to recruiting, benefits, employee relations, training/onboarding, updating documentation, etc. The Recruitment & Training Specialist is the second touch point and domain expert for employees.
- Assesses issues escalated by HR Coordinator and perform advanced troubleshooting and
- independent research to resolve issues within specific HR functions
- Processes a high volume of customer inquiries and resolves a targeted percentage of those
- inquiries
- Troubleshoots employees' problems, identifies the root cause of the problem, and uses tool
- and resources appropriately to determine how to resolve employee problems.
- When unable to resolve the problem in a reasonable amount of time, will escalate to the
- appropriate resource
- Follows up on escalated issues with coaching and mentoring to learn the appropriate solution
- and expand overall knowledge
- Provides functional and technical input to Sr. Specialist and COE functional experts
- Tracks and documents inbound support requests and ensures proper notation of customer
- problems or issues
- Updates employee information and ensures accurate entry of contact information
- Meets the standards of the job, such as quality standards, adherence to schedule, and
- average handle time
- May provide guidance and/or mentoring to less experienced HR Coordinators
- High school diploma or GED is required for this role; Associate or Bachelor's degree is
- preferable; or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience
- 3-5 years of HR Generalist/Recruitment combined specific experience required for this role
- Excellent customer service skills that build high levels of customer satisfaction
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Computer navigation and operation skills
- Demonstrates effective people skills and sensitivities when dealing with others
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Desire to learn and grow within a HR environment
