We’re looking for someone with a passion for sport, a team player, who can lead a team, consistently deliver results, and who is committed to always being in the pursuit of excellence! We are seeking a strategic, thought leader who can work cross-functionally in the Nike matrix, and lead teams directly and indirectly to achieve business results. You must have strong operational business acumen across varied marketplace units, be able to grasp retail and wholesale concepts quickly, and have a biased towards action! This person will be the finance leader of Business Planning team. You will play a key role in driving our overall offense, managing key stakeholders, and driving sustained, mutually profitable growth. Are you up to the task?


You will lead, develop, and coach the Business Planning Finance Team, which includes managing the holistic P&L, margin, and SG&A. You will need to develop and grow the teams’ competencies, skills, abilities, and leadership attributes to ensure the team performs at its best. You will be responsible for managing the consolidated P&L in year and leading the long range planning process. You will work cross-functionally with multiple functional teams to drive alignment, then deliver against these results on monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. Additionally, you will partner closely with Demand and Supply management team to drive and integrated and coordinated offense. You will need to always understand whats happening on the business and make the complex simple. You will relentlessly seek to improve our financial processes, financial systems, reporting needs, acumen, and understanding of the business to continuously bring value to the Mexico team.


You will report to and work closley with the CFO/Sr. Director of Finance in Mexico.


WHAT YOU BRING Financial Capabilities: Ideally, the candidate will possess the following: * Minimum of 10 years directly relevant work experience * Bachelor's or Master's degree in a business-related field with an emphasis in finance, accounting, economics, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience and training. Master's Degree/MBA is preferred * Have experience working with international companies * Ability to lead a team; one who coaches, mentors, and inspires the team to greatness * Prior experience managing the FP&A function and understand accounting principles * Proven ability to work collaboratively within a large matrix organization, ability to network and influence across several groups to achieve desired results * Strong analytical and strategic thinking; superior written and verbal communication skills and storytelling capabilities * Ability to simplify the complex and balance details with big picture * Deep experience across several of the following - understanding different business models to include digital/retail understanding, strategic frameworks, simplification of complex situations * Excellent knowledge and demonstrated understanding of forecasting, budgeting, reporting, financial analysis * Advanced Excel proficiency. Experience building complex Excel models and utilizing advanced formulas, pivot tables, queries, etc. * PowerPoint proficient. Experience with storytelling concepts and building integrated PowerPoint slide presentations for executive presentation * Experience and knowledge with finance/business software and reporting platforms- BPC, TM1, Business Objects, Tableau, SAP, etc. * Proven track record of career advancement and success, with a desire for broader career progression within one of the world's best consumer brands Soft skills: * Commitment to excellence and always pursuing better - for yourself and those you lead * Provide inspirational leadership to the team and bring energy to work everyday * Strong work ethic: willing to do what is necessary to get the job done; hungry to succeed * Results driven, high-energy self-starter with a positive can-do attitude * Growth mindset - strong willingness to learn, improve through challenges
